As an experienced restorer, my aim is to preserve, protect and sympathetically restore, using a combination of scientific skill and a knowledge of art history. 

The first step is to assess the condition of your painting. From there, I recommend which treatment is appropriate and provide a quote for the work (please see pricing). 

My speciality is oils, acrylics, tempera.
 
Treatment may include:
   - Repair to torn/punctured canvas 
   - Cleaning of surface dirt and discoloured varnish layers
   - Dealing with cracked/loose/faded paint
   - Removal of  previous restoration and overpainting work 
   - Re-touching (working with sensitivity to the intentions of the artist)
